Efficient Cooling Systems from Ruud
Energy Smart Heating Consultants is proud to be an authorized dealer for efficient Ruud air conditioning systems. We offer complete installation services, including the condenser, air handler, and ductwork. Energy Smart offers the complete residential AC line from Ruud, including these fine units:
Ruud Ultra Series 16 SEER Premium Condensing Unit
Includes a CopelandŽ Compliant ScrollŽ compressor for proven reliability, efficiency, and sound reduction.
Ruud air conditioning units are constructed with a powder-coat paint finish and galvanized steel cabinet to protect the condensing coil fins from yard hazards, extreme weather, and corrosion. Ruud air conditioning units use an innovative wraparound outdoor coil constructed of copper tubing and aluminum fins. This design allows improved airflow transfer and helps reduce energy consumption.
Ruud Ultra Series 18 SEER Air Handler
The ECM Motor reduces electrical consumption while providing the selected amount of airflow over a wide variety of home comfort applications. For superior energy savings, the patented Watt Restrictor limits electrical heating uses to only the necessary amount needed to achieve your home comfort level.
In the blower compartment, you'll find half-inch insulation to make operation more quiet.
Thanks to adjustable controls for the blower, your technician can precisely match airflow to the specific comfort requirements of your home. The standard RCQC high efficiency cooling coil has copper tubing and aluminum fins for superior heat transfer. The "A" coil design provides improved refrigerant flow and performance, for great energy savings.
Ruud air conditioners provide superior comfort solutions for your home or business that are unmatched in features and benefits. They are designed to make your home or business the most comfortable place on earth.

What's the SEER rating mean?
Central air conditioners are rated according to their seasonal energy efficiency ratio, or SEER. This ratio is the cooling output divided by the power input and is calculated for the average U.S. climate. The higher the SEER, the more efficient the air conditioner.
New central AC systems must have a SEER of 13 or above. This represents a 30% improvement over 10-SEER units, which were the standard until 2006. Older central AC units typically have SEER ratings of only 6 or 7.
